Transitional Rehabilitation Services

Boulder City Hospital Rehabilitation Services is transitional rehabilitation unit that combines the superior clinical expertise of physical, speech, and occupational therapies along with social services to increase strength and return patients to their homes and families.  At Boulder City Hospital, we bring the patient, family and comprehensive rehab team together to establish short-term and long-term goals.  Your rehab team consists of: physiatrist, internal medicine hospitalist, specialty consultants, physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, rehabilitation nurse, and discharge planner.

We can help those who have suffered a loss of function or an impairment due to:

• Stroke
• Brain Injury
• Spinal cord injuries
• Degenerative neurological disorders
• Amputations
• Major multiple trauma
• Polyarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis
• Orthopedic injury (fractured hips/femur)
• Total joint replacements (shoulders, hips, knees)
• Other conditions that have resulted in a loss of independence and mobility
